Poet Kyle Dargan returns to UVA for a webinar poetry reading as a Rea Visiting Writer. Dargan earned his BA from the University of Virginia and his MFA from Indiana University, where he was a Yusef Komunyakaa fellow and poetry editor of Indiana Review. He is the author of five collections of poetry: The Listening, which won the Cave Canem Prize, Bouquet of Hungers, awarded the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award in poetry, Logorrhea Dementia, Honest Engine, and Anagnorisis. His poems and nonfiction have appeared in Callaloo, Denver Quarterly, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. In 2019 he received the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize from the Academy of American Poets.
