Sarah V. Schweig Wins the Eighth Annual Jake Adam York Prize

Please join us in celebrating the publication of The Ocean in the Next Room by UVA Creative Writing alum ('07) Sarah V. Schweig. Sarah's second collection was chosen for the Eighth Annual Jake Adam York Prize for a first or second poetry collection, a collaboration between Copper Nickel and Milkweed Editions.

Sarah's first book, Take Nothing with You, was published by the University of Iowa Press, and she is also the author of the chapbook S (Dancing Girl Press). She is pursuing her PhD in philosophy at The New School for Social Research, with interests in philosophy of language, poetry, skepticism, and naturalism. Her poetry and criticism has appeared in Boston Review, Granta, Public Seminar, Tin House, Tourniquet Review, the Yale Review, and elsewhere. Her website is https://www.sarahvschweig.com.
