Brian Teare’s “smallholding”, Poem-a-Day

Brian Teare is Professor of Poetry and the Director of the Poetry Concentration. A 2020 Guggenheim Fellow, he is the author of many critically acclaimed books, including Companion Grasses, a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Award, Doomstead Days, winner of the Four Quartets Prize and a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle, Kingsley Tufts, and Lambda Literary Awards, and Poem Bitten by a Man, winner of the 2024 William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America.
